                <p class="dropcap">First WNBA game in my 12 years in Los Angeles, and somehow it felt like the perfect first one.</p>
<p>Seeing the game through my 3-year-old’s eyes made it extra special. It was the league’s 30th anniversary, and I loved watching her watch these amazing women compete (Olympians, Hall of Famers, and athletes at the top of their game).</p>
<p>On our way in, a security guard told her she looked like she could be the next player. Maybe it was a passing comment, but as a mom, it meant a lot. 💛</p>
