I love when a story begins with a mystery and lets it bloom slowly across the pages. The shifts between past and present kept the momentum going, and before I knew it, I was immersed. A good book to get lost in.

This one caught me by surprise. What started as a compelling story took a dark and unexpected turn, and I loved how the truth slowly revealed itself in the final chapters. The setup was clever, the pacing kept me hooked, and I genuinely didn’t see the twist coming. 

First WNBA game in my 12 years in Los Angeles, and somehow it felt like the perfect first one.

Seeing the game through my 3-year-old’s eyes made it extra special. It was the league’s 30th anniversary, and I loved watching her watch these amazing women compete (Olympians, Hall of Famers, and athletes at the top of their game).

On our way in, a security guard told her she looked like she could be the next player. Maybe it was a passing comment, but as a mom, it meant a lot. 💛
